[Press Release] Space Shift Secures Additional Funding in Series B Round — NI-WA Inc., Nagase & Co., Ltd., and General Incorporated Association G・B Join as New Investors, Accelerating Social Implementation of Satellite Data × AI —

Space Shift Inc. is pleased to announce that it has completed the second close of its Series B funding round through a third-party allotment to NI-WA Inc., Nagase & Co., Ltd., and General Incorporated Association GB. The total amount raised in this round has reached 730 million yen. 

Background

As global momentum grows around the commercial use of satellite data and its integration with generative AI, Space Shift Inc. has been advancing the social implementation of AI software technologies centered on SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) satellite data analytics. In the Series B round, the company aims to further strengthen post-pilot commercialization efforts, deepen co-creation with industrial partners, and expand satellite-data-driven businesses both in Japan and overseas. 

Use of Funds 

Strengthening management capabilities through enhanced R&D and talent acquisition
・Accelerating business development and expansion in domestic and international markets
Developing new analysis algorithms that address customer needs
