TECHNOLOGY

With core members specialized in AI, artificial satellites, and remote sensing technologies, Space Shift is developing a known to be difficult SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) satellite data analysis technology.

This technology not only increases the data analysis accuracy of SAR satellites, which can observe the earth's surface without depending on the weather or time of day, but also flexibly combines data from optical satellites and ground sensors to enable detection of every significant change on the earth's surface.

Introducing Our Technology

  • InSAR

Detects displacement of the earth's surface
    in millimeters.

    Object Detection

Uses AI analysis to detect specific "objects"console.log
    and determine their "types."

  • Change Detection

Uses AI analysis to extract "changes"
    in specific objects or areas.

Features of Our Technology

  • Continuous wide area observation

Image analysis of SAR satellite data available 24/7 can capture any change in the target object and/or the environment continuously for wide areas.

  • Time series data

By analyzing the satellite data of previous observations, you can obtain target changes in the form of time series.

  • Automated analysis (AI)

AI algorithms specifically developed for the observation target can improve the efficiency of data analysis as well as derive information that is difficult for humans to recognize.

Our Strength

Provide a real-time access environment
for various information on earth

Space Shift is developing the technology for integrated and automated analysis of all the satellite data available.
Because we don't have our own satellites, we can freely choose any data available from the worldwide market to flexibly select and analyze the data most suitable in providing information useful in solving the problems of the customer.

While a number of SAR satellites are to be launched in Japan and overseas, it is impossible to observe the earth in real-time if we are to depend on a single satellite constellation of each entity.
Our analysis technology being developed will enable combination of all the satellites available, making it function as a single "virtual constellation," to allow near real-time observation and analysis of major cities in the world.

※ While "Constellation" originally means a group of stars that forms a particular shape in the sky, in this case, it means a group of many small satellites deployed on each orbit. In recent years, major satellite operators in the world have been launching a number of small satellites to establish a coordinated system (i.e., satellite constellation).
