We participated in the 9th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD 9), held in Yokohama from Wednesday, August 20 to Friday, August 22, 2025, and took the stage at the MOU Signing Ceremony held during the conference on Thursday, August 21.

The Signing Ceremony was held in the presence of Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba and African leaders.
Mr. Naruo Kanemoto, CEO of Space Shift, participated in the ceremony (pictured: second row, third from the left).
While memorandums were exchanged across a wide range of sectors—including energy and mineral resources, healthcare, and infrastructure—Space Shift signed two MOUs in the space sector.
The details of the MOUs signed by Space Shift are as follows.
Taking TICAD9 as a turning point, we will further accelerate our satellite data business to address pressing challenges in African countries.
