Has more than 10 years’ experience in the Internet industry after starting his own IT business as a university student. Deep knowledge as an engineer in various systems development, familiar with AI, web systems, and marketing. Has spent more than 10 years in space-related businesses, with an extensive domestic and international network. Has recently been promoting AI-based automated satellite data analysis technology, especially the use of satellite data by the companies outside the space industry. Has served as a member of "Space and ICT" discussion group of MIC, a Project Researcher of AIST, and vice secretary general of "New space study group".

Participated in SAR development while in Mitsubishi Electric. Is familiar with optical, hyper spectrum, and other remote-sensing satellite data, and has engineering experience in actual data processing and development of analysis systems. After working for a trading company distributing satellite images and later NEC Corporation, established Satellite Business Network Co., Ltd. Has an extensive network in Japan and abroad. Regarding the use and application of satellite data, is strong in the integrated analysis of satellite-based and ground-based observation data. Also has management experience of a team of domestic and international members.

Takahiro first became interested in space after reading the science magazine (Newton) when he was in high school. After studying the origin of the solar system at Kyushu University and the University of Tokyo Graduate School, he joined Accenture as a new graduate and engaged in SCM consulting for the retail and manufacturing industries. He then moved to Recruit where he worked in the New Business Development Office and experienced the launch of several businesses he had planned and drafted himself. From 2015, he joined ispace,inc. as Director and COO, overseeing all aspects of the business. He was responsible for business development, government relations, U.S. and European expansion, organizational development, and the launch and promotion of HAKUTO and HAKUTO-R. In 2017, he raised a series A funding of 10.35 billion yen, the largest amount ever raised in Japan. Experienced scale-up from 2 employees to 200 employees. In July 2022, he founded Midtown,Inc., aiming to solve global issues with the keywords of space x climate change x biodiversity. Also serves as CXO and advisor for several startup companies and acting chairperson of the Lunar Industry Vision Council.

After graduating from Waseda University, Jun joined Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) and was involved in system development for financial institutions and government agencies. He then moved to Nikko Citigroup Global Markets Limited (now Citigroup Global Markets Japan Inc.), where he worked in the Investment Banking Division on public offerings, global offerings, M&A advisory, and in the Structured Finance Division of the Fixed Income Department/Citibank, where he was involved in acquisition finance and LBO finance arrangement. After obtaining an MSc from Stanford Graduate School of Business, Jun engaged in Asian business development at the Silicon Valley startup Cooliris, Inc. Upon returning to Japan, he worked at Sumitomo Corporation on project finance for power projects. Leveraging his experience and network in Silicon Valley, he subsequently served as a Country Manager and COO for various overseas startups, driving the growth of their Japanese operations from scratch. In his previous role at the food tech startup TWO Inc., Jun served as CFO, leading a Series A funding round that raised 500 million yen and overseeing the sale of the bath product business for 3.5 billion yen.

With over 20 years of experience in project leadership and management in the IT industry, Yuji started his own system company after working as a freelance engineer in 2000. He has been involved in various IT system development projects. In 2009, he served as a development manager for various marketing-related systems such as advertising delivery, DSP, CRM, and affiliate marketing at companies specializing in internet advertising systems and major EC companies, leading numerous development teams both domestically and internationally. In 2021, Yuji joined SpaceShift, Inc. as responsible for business development, system development, and HR. He handles a wide range of responsibilities from organizational management to recruitment, business development, sales, and project management for system development projects.

Tamao graduated from the Department of Geophysics, Faculty of Science, Tohoku University. She joined the laboratory of Development Economics at the Graduate School of International Studies, University of Tokyo, where she researched climate change countermeasures in the Global South. After completing the master course, she worked in international cooperation at a major construction consulting company. For about six years, she served as a specialist consultant in climate change and renewable energy. She has been involved in environmental projects with governments and businesses in over 20 cities across 10 countries in Southeast Asia, Africa, and Central America, also gaining experience as a project manager. She joined Space Shift, Inc. in July 2021.

Kazushi Motomura
Mr. Motomura holds a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering and a Master's degree in Satellite Oceanography from Kyushu University. He began his career at the Remote Sensing Technology Center of Japan (RESTEC), managing diverse projects with domestic and international satellite sensors. At MOL Information Systems (Mitsui O.S.K. Lines Technology Innovation Unit), he led ICT strategy and the implementation of AI systems for business divisions within the international shipping group. Subsequently, at Mitsubishi Research Institute (MRI), he focused on applying AI to satellite data, analyzing technology and policy trends, and developing R&D plans. Joining our company in 2023 as a Lead Sales Engineer, he drove AI algorithm development using Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) satellites. He is now in his current role after serving as Head of Technology Development. He also co-authored the Object Detection and Super-resolution sections in the "Remote Sensing Encyclopedia" for the Remote Sensing Society of Japan.
