Space Shift to Participate in Research on Sustainable Ground Asset Monitoring

Space Shift Inc.  announces its participation in the project titled “Investigation and Study on Data Analysis for Sustainable Ground Asset Monitoring” (hereinafter the “Project”), for which Shinyo Corporation (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Shinichi Kuramochi; hereinafter “Shinyo”) has been contracted by the Acquisition, Technology & Logistics Agency (ATLA), Ministry of Defense, through its Defense Innovation Science & Technology Institute.

The Project aims to conduct technical studies to support sustainable ground asset monitoring in Japan’s defense sector.

Project Overview

In a variety of situations, including emergencies, the ability to rapidly and accurately assess the status and changes of critical ground assets is considered an essential element in supporting situational awareness among relevant authorities.
The Project aims to examine the technical feasibility and effectiveness of data analysis technologies that contribute to the monitoring of critical ground assets.
In collaboration with Shinyo Corporation, Space Shift will conduct research and technical studies on data analysis approaches that enable continuous and autonomous situational monitoring by integrating satellite data with multiple other information sources.
