On Wednesday, October 8, 2025, Space Shift co-hosted a special talk event with Toho Leo Co., Ltd. and PwC Consulting LLC, centered around the theme of “Nature Positive”. The event drew over 50 attendees to the venue and sparked lively discussions on the future of sustainable cities and communities.

The event focused on Landscape-based Solutions (LbS) as a core strategy for enhancing natural capital, covering the following key topics:
・The current state of Nature Positive and TNFD compliance
・Implementation of Generative AI for green infrastructure and landscape design
・New perspectives on Nature Positive through the use of satellite data
Participants from companies and local governments engaged in multi-faceted discussions on environmental challenges and strategies for building sustainable business practices.

Expert speakers included representatives from JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency), Tokyu Fudosan Holdings, and Virtu Design Association, sharing cutting-edge insights across the fields of environment, urban development, and space.
Topics ranged from the latest developments in the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) to real-world applications of AI and satellite-based environmental monitoring.

From Space Shift, CBO Tamao Tada took the stage to introduce a new collaborative initiative with Toho Leo (a SateBiz partner company) aimed at developing Landscape-based Solutions powered by satellite data analytics to support Nature Positive initiatives by enterprises and municipalities.

Tada highlighted:
“By integrating diverse ground-based data with satellite information and building a global environmental big data platform, we can support corporate efforts towards Nature Positive.”
