[News] Space Shift Booth Visited by the Prime Minister of Vietnam, VNSC Director General, and METI Officials at “Vietnam – Japan Space Horizons 2026”

At the “Vietnam – Japan Space Horizons 2026” forum held in Vietnam from March 12 to 14, our CEO, Mr. Kanemoto, delivered a pitch presentation. In addition, our exhibition booth was honored by visits from H.E. Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh of Vietnam, the Director General of VNSC (Vietnam National Space Center), officials from Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), and many other distinguished stakeholders.

Satellite data utilization is gaining increasing attention across a wide range of sectors, including agriculture, defense, and land management. In particular, demand is rapidly growing in the Global South, where territories are vast and monitoring infrastructure is often underdeveloped. At this forum as well, we received strong interest from government representatives.

Last year, we entered into a strategic partnership with VegaCosmos Co., Ltd., a space business company under the Vegastar Group in Vietnam, which provides geospatial services. This partnership focuses on the development of geospatial applications and technologies utilizing satellite data. During this forum, we also held in-person discussions to further strengthen our collaboration and explore new use cases in the region.

Going forward, we will continue to advance our business by deepening global partnerships and promoting the implementation of satellite data solutions aimed at addressing societal challenges.
