[Press Release] -Talk Event- Toho Leo × Space Shift Co-Host Event on “Nature Positive” Initiatives

A collaborative event on satellite data utilization and landscape-based approaches featuring experts from JAXA, Tokyu Fudosan Holdings, PwC Consulting, and Virtue Design.
Toho Leo Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture; President: Minoru Yoshikawa) and Space Shift Inc. (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Naruo Kanemoto) are collaborating to promote “Landscape-based Solutions (LbS)” aimed at enhancing the value of natural capital. As part of this initiative, the two companies will co-host a special event themed on the globally emerging concept of “Nature Positive.”
The event will center around the concept of LbS, a promising approach to leveraging natural capital in urban and regional settings, and will explore:
・The current status of Nature Positive and how businesses can respond to the TNFD framework
・The role of generative AI in implementing landscape and green infrastructure
・New perspectives enabled by satellite data in realizing Nature Positive strategies
Additionally, the event will feature speakers from organizations actively tackling environmental challenges, including the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), Virtue Design, Tokyu Fudosan Holdings, and PwC Consulting. They will share the latest trends in TNFD (Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures) and concrete case studies from their respective organizations.
Through this event, Toho Leo and Space Shift aim to envision “a future of symbiosis with nature—from the ground to space” and propose new forms of value that bridge environmental stewardship and business innovation.

Earth Observation Program Strategy Office, JAXA
Joined in 2015, with prior work at Tanegashima Space Center and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), contributing to Japan’s national EO strategy.
Megumi Matsumoto
Director, Group Sustainability Promotion, Tokyu Fudosan Holdings
Leads the ESG and sustainability strategy across the Tokyu Fudosan Group since 2010. First-class architect and CASBEE-certified evaluator.
Toru Hattori

Former consultant, data scientist, and new business development lead in major SIers and manufacturers. Has also been active in environmental NGOs and NPOs for over 20 years.
Yosuke Enomoto
